Cross Counselling
“Counselling built on Biblical Foundation”
Cross Counselling offers professional, compassionate support for both Christians and non-Christians. It’s a safe, reflective space to explore thoughts, emotions, and life challenges at your own pace.
Our approach is relational and person-centred, drawing from Carl Rogers, CBT, Gestalt, Jungian, and Existential ideas to meet each person’s unique needs.
Rooted in a Christian worldview shaped by both charismatic and reformed traditions, we see deep harmony between biblical truth and psychological wellbeing. Faith is never imposed—clients are free to explore belief, doubt, and personal growth in their own way.
Sessions are available online, by phone, face-to-face, or as walk-and-talks.
Grounded in BACP ethical standards, Cross Counselling seeks to meet people where they are, honour their autonomy, and trust that healing and renewal rest in God’s hands.

Meet the Counsellor
Hi, I’m Danny Knight. I believe counselling is at its heart a meeting of souls—two people pausing long enough to see what’s really true. My approach is rooted in a Christian vision of life, where brokenness isn’t something to hide but sacred ground for healing. Healing isn’t about becoming perfect but about becoming whole again, under the watchful, patient gaze of God.
My own journey has been shaped by silence, prayer, and contemplation—gentle, slow work that helps me notice what lies beneath the surface. I draw deeply on Christian mysticism, philosophy, and mindfulness—not just as tools, but as ways of seeing: learning to stay present with what is real, and to listen for grace in ordinary moments.
Cross Counselling grew out of this desire: to create a space where faith and psychology meet without pretence, where questions are welcomed, and hope is given the time it needs. My role is simply to walk alongside you through confusion, until you begin to feel again that your life is held, known, and unfolding.
